Stealing from some to help others

Police have arrested a 17-year-old Syrian for breaking into cars at an unidentified location, reports Al-Shahid daily. The daily quoting security sources said police caught the teenager in the act while attempting to rob from a parked car. This came following complaints by residents in the area. During interrogation the thief is said to have admitted to breaking into 13 cars and stolen the valuables using duplicate keys.
Surprisingly the thief turned out to be a ‘Good Samaritan’ because he claimed he sold the stolen goods and gave money to the poor.

Bizarre story! So this guy steals money from some people....to give it to other people?!?

  1. :$ Bizarre indeed ... ! Astaghfirullah , stealing is stealing , whatever the excuse , you can't glove a bad deed as good , it's wrong n khallas , plus the money he was giving the poor was earned thru wrong means so what's the use , where's the help , where's the virtue .. he should help himself and do something more constructive

  2. Why not Mr. Farran every thing is possible!

Some rare people do sacrifice their happiness, dignity, morals and faith for other people. For example, Just look at some maids or sweepers who leave their family, sacrifice their happiness and bear the insults of their lords just to offer their family the necessities of living. Also, I heard such cases that some mothers stole something in order to feed their childern. So sometimes we can be forced to sacrifice our happiness and dignity for those who mean alot in our life but such cases happen so rare at this time.It became so difficult to find out a reasonable and convined reasons for an unexpected actions.

Ummmmmm about this case I feel that he gave an fake execuse only to justify his situation and to save himself (Allah a3lam)can't be sure.

'stealing is stealing , whatever the excuse"
Yes I do agree. Stealing is the worst habit. No body has the right to take something doesn't belong to him just in one case (The extremely needed people can be forgiven as it is shown in our Islam:)

Nice to see you after a long time dear sister Jawaria:)Welcome back sister we missed your beautiful comments:)

  3. This is the dilemma, do you punish the unfortunate ones who commit a crime for the sake of survival?

  4. Look Mr. Farran with the grace of our god every thing is clear in our religion. I mean what we are allowed to do and what we are not allowed to do. I believe that behind these instructions there is a wisdom that always guides us to a peacful and comfortable life. I know that sometimes hard circumstances force us to slip and commit something which is forbidden in our religion and could affect our life negatively later but hard circumstances are just tests given from our god to test our patience and faith we have on him. In each human's life hard circumstances are written. I know some people are suffering more and bearing so many things but if they have a full strogh faith on their god then believe me this faith will always give them patience and forbids them to do what their god forbid. But most people lack this faith. They don't have any patience and consider their suffering their bad luck NOT test from our god. They are not aware that with the struggling, patience, faith on their god, challenging and prayers they can pass this exam. They are not aware that after each suffereing there is a relief and reward from our god (even if not in this vanished life inshallah in paradise in the judgment day).Lack of patience, faith, insistance and fear of god are the main reasons of slipping and committing what shouldn't be occured. For example, is it a suitable solution that when we feel depressed we should drink or smoke to forget our sorrow????

Mr. Farran when you feel regret of doing something which is considered a shamful and harmful thing and ask your god to forgive you, our god bestows his mercy to us.He forgives the humans even after their worst actions, if they felt guilty and decided to return to their god with pure actions. We are just humans how we can decided whether we should punish some one or not after his regret!.

I do believe that the one who commits a harmful thing and don't feel regret should be punished to save the peopel from his harmful actions, but the one who feels regret I believe that he should be considered. He should be helped to walk in the right path:)

I don't know whether I convinced you or not but this is what my parents taught me and what I believe in:).

  5. He's not a good samaritan in this, he's more of Robin Hood. I think it's an excuse to cover up his deeds. If not, then the guilt haunts him and that's why he gives whatever he's taking to others.
